This Year In Review 2021

These are the big events that have taken place at Radiant Ministries International in the Year of Our Lord, 2021.

September 2021

Prayer Request: Grant Pastor Ravi safe passage to the United States.

Answered Prayer: September 17, 2021.

It was Pastor Ravi’s desire to be granted safe passage to the United States so that he may begin his formal pastoral training. God granted Pastor Ravi’s desire on September 17, 2021. He arrived safely from India to New York City. He then flew domestically from NYC to DFW International Airport. He was greeted at the airport by this then fiancée, Cecilia.

Thank you to Living Assembly Church, Salt Lake City, Kolkata for equipping Ravi prior to his arrival in the United States. October 2021

Prayer Request: Wedding of Pastor Ravi & Cecilia

Answered Prayer: October 23, 2021

After dating since March 2019, Pastor Ravi & Cecilia had been seeking from God asking if they should proceed and pursue marriage. God answered their prayer and after completing premarital counseling, the wedding ceremony took place at Getsemani Baptist Church, Ft. Worth with Pastor Oliver Martinez officiating. Their dear friends and accountability Pastors, Debasish & Shree Das were able to safely arrive and attend their wedding from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. They were also joined by their son whom Pastor Ravi sweetly refers to as “taco”, Eliel Das.

Pastors Debasish & Shree Das have been praying for Ravi and equipping Ravi for the ministry since his youth back in Kolkata India. Additionally, Pastors Debasish & Shree Das hosted both Ravi and Cecilia in their home in Dubai November of 2020. They are hugely supportive of both Ravi & Cecilia, not just financially, but also prayerfully covering both their ministry and their marriage.

Thank You’s: Senior Pastor, Oliver Martinez for facilitating our premarital counseling and for officiating the wedding. Debasish & Shree Das for prayerfully keeping our relationship and marriage under the close watch of the Holy Spirit. We are forever grateful for your love and protection.

Late October 2021

Prayer Request: Visit “The Bean”, Chicago – United States of America

Answered Prayer: October 27, 2021

Now, you may ask yourself, why are you including a trip to Chicago? How is this ministry-related? When we think of prayer requests, we often think of prayers for healing, restoration and redemption. But, the Bible also clearly tells believers to pray for the desires of our hearts and that’s exactly what Pastor Ravi prayed for. God wants to be the Lord and Savior over all areas of your life. Go and meet Him in prayer today.

November 2021

Prayer Request: Begin Ministerial and Pastoral Journey in the United States

Answered Prayer: Lead Prayer during Uproar Service, November 15, 2021

Prayer is the most crucial and important ministry to Radiant Ministry International. Both Pastor Ravi and Cecilia give God the glory and honor for choosing them and calling them out of their respective countries of India and Mexico so that they may formalize their ministerial callings in the United States of America. Any time either of them are called on to lead prayer at any event, they will gladly step up and serve.

Prayer Request: Share testimony with American Congregants

Answered Prayer: November 29, 2021

Pastor Ravi’s heart is for evangelism and for missions. This calling came from God after receiving Jesus as His Lord and Savior. During his testimony time at Springdale Baptist Church, he shares the story of how the Samaritan Shoebox Ministry was pivotal in learning who Jesus was and Jesus’ love for the world. God used Sunday School and the Samaritan Shoebox Ministry to reach him and others for Christ. Watch his testimony here:

December 2021

Prayer Request: Lead Worship in an American Congregation

Answered Prayer: December 8, 2021

One thing that is special to Pastor Ravi is his worship time with God. Pastor Ravi is a skilled and talented Worship Leader who has lead worship conferences to hundreds of people. His desire was to serve God here in America through worship. He chose the song, “You Are Good” by Israel Houghton as the song with which to lead worship. Both Pastor Ravi and Cecilia were the worship leaders and vocalists for the Lord at Getsemani Baptist Church that day.

Year In Review

Both Pastor Ravi and Cecilia Balmiki want to give God the glory and the honor to God for choosing us to serve English, Spanish, Hindi and Bengali congregations. We continue to seek from God step by step, season to season and from glory to glory. Radiant Ministries International exists to connect you to the word of God in such a way that God’s light will shine through you.
